You’ll know the recording is active if you see Recording… in the top-left. If you aren’t the meeting host, share these instructions with the host by sending them a link to this guide. You can also download your recording to your computer and upload it to Canvas My Media / Media Gallery to share with students. Copy the link to share with your students so they can stream the recording.
Click “Open All Rooms.” This will automatically move participants into the selected rooms. Successful connection will then be shown by a green dot next to each corresponding individual. Are running these Virtual Connection Labs which allow groups, organizations and schools to connect meaningfully online. As a byproduct of that you also get this kind of embedded “train-the-trainer” and “how to” run and virtually facilitate meetings in a more engaging and connecting way.
Click the blue “Save” button when you’re done. Your scheduled meetings will now appear on the right side of the “Home” tab. You can also view your scheduled meetings in the “Meetings” tab of the app. This will open a pop-up that looks similar to the online form. Choose your Video, Calendar, and Security settings.
You can use Zoom as a video creation tool to enable you to record your presentation and upload it to Panopto for sharing with your students. Zoom provides the ability to record a meeting. You can set up the meeting to either record automatically or on your own time. Nevertheless, if you can’t hear the audio, you have to check the sound settings of both Bandicam and your computer. Please refer to How to record computer sound to solve the issue. You will also get an email from Zoom letting you know when your recording is available in the cloud.
On Android, the process is pretty simple and straightforward. During a Zoom meeting, simply tap on the “Share” button at the bottom and choose “Screen”. You can also choose “whiteboard” if you want. There are three good ways to make this happen. The first is that in many corporate Zoom rooms there are actually two cameras, one in the front of the room and one in the back that can be used to see the presenter. You often need to aim each camera manually so that you don’t end up seeing the back of the presenter. If you are in a location with even one other person on the same Zoom call, go to a conference Zoom Meetings room and get on Zoom together. You will have more of a team connection by clustering in the meeting with other people. At the highest level, the etiquette of Zoom is that we should, as much as possible, behave in Zoom meetings the way we would want people to behave in person.
To make this automation even more powerful, you can add a step that shares the meeting details with your team via a chat app like Slack. We use this automation all the time here at Zapier—any time a new team meeting in Zoom kicks off, the Zoom link gets posted to the appropriate channel in Slack automatically. If you run a lot of meetings—for example, with clients—but don’t have an assistant, you might want to connect your scheduling app, Zoom, and your calendar. Whenever someone books an appointment in a scheduling app, for example, Zapier can automatically create a new Zoom meeting and add it to whatever app you use for your personal calendar. Here are some pre-built Zaps to power this workflow, but you can create a Zap with whatever apps you use.
